On a personal note, having worked on every episode since episode six, I feel like our team is the most capable of providing the best version simply because of familiarity with the material.

I completely agree.... and I was super bummed to hear that SHS had to drop Hitman. :\

I've downloaded all 89 episodes from Shinsen, though I've only watched the first couple episodes. Not really into Hitman Reborn at the moment, does it get better?

I know there is a lot of people sad about the C&D letter and the stopping of fansubs for it, but that just means good news, it's getting localized, you can then buy the dvd's which will hopefully have japanese language as well as english on it, though it will take a while to catch up.

For those impatient people, there is always other groups who don't care about Licenses and will continue to sub it.. :/

It does get better once the action starts, which is like 20 something?

The first few episodes are mostly character introductions, followed by daily life comedy/boredom.

Hey Koby. Just because they got the C&D doesn't mean the show is licensed. If I recall it was just the company wanted the fansubs to be stopped which has happened before. It sucks be we all do one or the other. Respect the decision to halt fansubs or whine and bitch(and then possibly banned lol).

Just thought you all should see. I haven't watched it all the way through yet. The 3rd guy from the left, he talks a lot, is the guy who is sending out all the C&D's... SHS is represented too, and the Dattebayo guys and LiveEvil guy... its interesting, but nothing new...

It's funny how people seem to think we didn't know a representative from our group was going to be at that panel...

Why did SHS stop? Because we were asked by a legal entity to. We don't like getting sued, and we like to respect the companies when they directly ask us to stop. We're not here to "stick it to the man," so we're not going to blatantly go against them.

When is someone else going to sub it? You can bet it will be licensed soon and will come out on DVD eventually. There are other fansubbing groups out there doing the series, but if you don't already know who they are you'll have to go find them yourself.

The worst case for me will be waiting for the Chinese version of Reborn to be shown on TV.

SHS has been around for so long, lot's of old clans have died off.....let's embrace it or else it might be the victim of the industry.

and there is no fansubs that subbed it .
so does shinsen-subs can pre-subbed it back ?

I now this may be considered as nagging. i am from croatia and i love your subs. but could you please release scripts for kateikyoushi hitman reborn like you did for real drive. cause this is the only way for me, and bunch of other people to watch the show
